The RIS III achieves a reduction in weight while significantly enhancing its versatility thanks to is generous M-LOK mounting points. The RIS III Handguard maintains a free-floating barrel design and includes seven M-LOK attachment points along its length.
The handguard is expertly crafted from rugged aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength and long-lasting performance in the most demanding conditions. The Daniel Defense patented 6-bolt bolt-up system firmly secures the handguard to the upper receiver, establishing a solid and stable platform.
